I’ve got this confirmation-mail (2 times for 2 exchange orders):
Dear *****,
Direct Exchangers has found a partner to perform your exchange! After both parties submit the funds to our escrow account for the specified currency the exchange will be performed.
Make sure you desposit the funds in less then 24 hours after receiving this email.
Login to your account at Direct Exchangers to find out about our escrow accounts.
Warmest personal regards,
DirectExchangers.com
2 days later, as nothing happend, I send a reminder and I`ve got this answer:
Dear *****,
We’re aware of your both send exchanges. We’ve found a partner for you who claimed he would be sending the funds today so we can finish the exchange.
If not we will e-mail you to advice, to issue a refund or wait to see if we can piece it together. It’s very hard to get E-gold exchanged these days so we hope your partner comes thru.
With kind regards,
DirectExchangers.com
Annother 2 days later, this eMails (2 times - one for each exchange order):

Only conduct transactions you are sure you can complete within 24 hours.
Warmest personal regards,

e-gold asking for Social Security Number
Logged into my e-gold account just now and was hit with a message that I could not proceed without entering my SS# -- the little note also wants tax ID numbers for non-US accountholders as well. I don't see how giving them our SS helps us at all. We can access our account and STILL can't get our money to cash because we aren't supposed to use exchangers and even if we do we only get 10% back. On the flip side they are trying to please the U.S. govt while at the same time trying to get people to use their...
How to avoid scam…? They look real…
Here some of tips and suggestions: the best rule to avoid scam is - take it as scammer. don't trust it even it looks very provable. just be financially educated, also compute the returns if it is feasible. You will be far away to be scammed. most scams can make themselves look "financially feasible" and most nowadays are reducing their returns so they look "realistic". not that they aren't still a scam anyway. No HYIP is NO SCAM. Simple. think before acting. Experience helps them to distinguish a bit, the fact is they have similar features, so the more you play the more you are aware...

P-2-P Network is Internet Fraud
North Dakota Securities Commissioner Karen Tyler announced today that the Securities Department is actively investigating a Canadian-based, internet fraud scheme currently being promoted in several communities in North Dakota, including Bismarck and Jamestown. "Pathway-2-Prosperity" or "P-2-P Network" promises returns of 1.5% to 2.67% per day. An example hyped in its website of $100 invested in the "60 Day Plan" would return over $260 in just two months. "This has all the earmarks of a classic Ponzi scheme with money from later investors used to pay unrealistically high returns to early investor/promoters, who then bring in their family members, friends and...
